GRIMSBY TOWN (n) L 1-0
Chessie’s life as a Cobblers fan wasn’t the easiest to start with. Not that it ever is really, is it?
Her father decided that he’d take her along to the 1998 Play Off Final against Grimsby and somehow she caught the Cobblers bug!
After spending the next 8 years religiously driving up with her dad from her hometown in Somerset to watch games, she finally saw them score for the first time and a year after that she finally saw them win! But, despite the 350 mile journey, when she’s not marking books at school, she spends her weekends following the Cobblers.
Her favourite ever player is Adebayo Akinfenwa and her favourite Cobblers memory is the away game at Leyton Orient in the 2016 season. #ConcreteRod
