Matt Salmons

Cobblers Vlogs creator, Matt Salmons reminds us about his favourite player, David Buchanan.

The fan taking a trip down Memory Lane this time is the creator of the Cobblers Vlogs YouTube Channel, Matt Salmons.

Matt’s chosen subject is his favourite Cobblers player, David Buchanan.

Buchs signed for the Cobblers in the summer of 2015 after he was released by Preston North End and became an integral part of not just Chris Wilder’s League 2 title winning side but the Cobblers defence for the next 4 years.

Buchanan is unlike any other modern day footballer as he played in 106 consecutive games. A streak that was only ended by a harsh red card picked up in a home game against Shrewsbury.

Buchanan was Vice-Captain of the Cobblers during his time at Sixfields, playing under a total of 6 managers.

Back in October 2018 Matt interviewed Buchs for his channel and you can watch that here.
