Big Week For Curle’s Cobblers
There’s no hiding the fact that this is a big week for Nothampton Town.
With back to back games against fellow strugglers Wigan and Burton, it is imperative that the Cobblers pick up 6 points if they are to remain in League One next season.
While it may not be a mathematical impossibility to stay up if these games aren’t won, the effect that will be had on the confidence of the team and the fan base will be catastrophic.
I simply can’t see Cobblers fans accepting draws or defeats this week. There will be outrage on social media and calls for changes to be made.
I’m sure that the staff and players will be doing all they can to win this week but I do have concerns about the team’s ability to do so.
