Trash Talk

A couple of weeks ago we were contacted by an MK fan on Twitter who wanted us to answer some questions for their website.

Danny duly replied but it seems that the MK fan didn’t want to publish his answers for some reason.

So we’ve gone ahead and published them anyway. You can read them below.

CLUB – Northampton Town

NAME – Danny Brothers

AGE – 36

We are now well into the season, has it gone about how you thought it would for your club this season so far?

We always expected this to be a tough season after coming up through the playoffs and so it’s proven to be. The summer signings weren’t up to scratch for whatever reason and Keith Curle has tried to right those wrongs in the winter window to a mostly decent effect. The playing style is always up for debate but if it keeps us up the majority will be happy.

Where do you think your club will finish up in the league this season?
Hopefully 20th or above!

What has been your best result this season, and of course your worst?
The best result was probably the 3-1 win at Burton both performance and importance wise. Worst I’d say was the 4-0 defeat at Oxford, though there’s been a few of those!

Do you think your club has acted well towards the fans in terms of compensation, offers and discounts for season ticket holders?

We still haven’t had a clear offer of compensation yet in terms of season ticket holders but are assured that this is because the owners are waiting to see exactly what the scope is for the rest of the season.

Which opposition team that you have played has impressed you the most this season?
Hull City

Which player has stood out for your team this season, and which player has come through the ranks and looks a real prospect?
Sean McWilliams has come through over the last few seasons and he’s now probably our most important player so he answers both questions!

Which MK Dons player stands out to you as a game changer in our clash?
Scott Fraser looks to have been a really good signing for you.

Have you ever been to Stadium MK, if so, what’s your opinion on it?

Yes – honestly it’s the most soulless football ground I’ve ever been to. I can’t stand to think of why anyone would support MK after how the club came about and, to me, it’s reflected in the stadium. It felt dirty just to be there.

Where do you think the MK Dons will finish in the league table?
Mid-table.

From what you have seen, who are your tips for the league title, promotion, and relegation?
Title: Hull CityPromotion: Lincoln, SunderlandRelegation: Wigan, Burton, Bristol Rovers, Swindon

Can you give us your match prediction?

1-1
