Tim Oglethorpe joins It's All Cobblers To Me to chat about his life commentating on The Cobblers
For over 25 years one voice has been synonymous with Northampton Town.
Tim Oglethorpe has been part of BBC Radio Northampton’s commentary team since he was asked to cover the 1997 play-off semi final 1st leg match at Cardiff City.
Since then he has gone on to describe some of the biggest moments in Cobblers history.
Tim speaks to Charles and Danny about his time behind the microphone and why he couldn’t commentate on any other team.
Charles is the founder and main presenter of the award-winning It’s All Cobblers To Me podcast.
He began the podcast after going self-employed in 2018 as a podcast producer and voiceover artist. The original thought being that It’s All Cobblers To Me would be a place to try out new things – like a test podcast of sorts.
As well as being Cobblers mad, Charles is also a ultramarathon runner and has a blog about that that he tries to keep up to date as often as he can.

As the ticker tape fell on the exhausted and jubilant members of the Lionesses last Sunday evening, the nation rejoiced and celebrated as football well
With the release of the 2022/23 away kit, The Cobblers line up of shirts for the new season is complete. Charles takes a look at some of his favourites.
