Time For A Change

A few things have changed over the last year or so. The Cobblers manager, a load of players and we started this podcast. 60 odd episodes on we have a few changes coming which we want you to know about.

At the start of the 2019/20 season us Cobblers fans were full of hope and expectation. Keith Curle had made sweeping changes to the squad that disappointed us so badly the previous year. 14 new players were signed and only a handful of familiar faces like Sam Hoskins and David Cornell remained.

There were changes to It’s All Cobblers To Me too. We released several bonus episodes during the close season, including panel discussions with our friends in the local media and you, the fans.

From those episodes came a surprise. A new member of the podcast team. Like me, an exile. Enter Chessie Coleman. Four months later and Chessie has settled into life as a Cobblers To Me pundit and has become a brilliant fourth member of our team.

As we near Christmas there are more changes ahead. Nothing huge. Just some tweaks which we hope will help us to offer you even more content moving forward.

We have started our Patreon page. Patreon, for those of you who don’t know, allows audiences to support content creators like us. It isn’t mandatory, and as explained on the page itself (and this page of our website) the podcast will always be free to listen to. Patreon is like a tip-jar. If you like our podcast and want to give us something in return, you can. If you aren’t able to do this then that is fine too. We aren’t offering anything extra to our Patrons other than to have their names on the website. And that is simply a very small way that we can say thank you to those people.

Another change is this blog. As well as the podcast, we will be releasing a blog post each week on a Friday. It might be about the upcoming match, a feature on the youth team or a list of everything we love about Alan McCormack! All four of us will be bringing you something but we would also like your thoughts.

So if you’re an aspiring blogger or just a Cobblers fan with something to say, we’d love to feature it right here on our website. The only rule is that it must be Cobblers related. You can send your articles to itsallcobblers@gmail.com.

Finally, I just wanted to say thank you for listening every week. We do this because we enjoy it. But without you, our loyal listeners, it wouldn’t be half as much fun so thank you.
