What a difference a week makes!

Since our last episode (available on all podcast apps) the Cobblers beat Arsenal on penalties in their opening EFL Champions League Trophy (or whatever it’s called) tie and then smashed Plymouth 3-1 in League 2!

We round up the transfer deadline day action which saw Joe Bunney leave for Bolton and Egli Kaja become Keith Curle’s 14th summer signing. Apparently he’s a winger, exciting!

Elsewhere, we announce our Goal and Player of the Month for August as voted for by you on Twitter.

Danny has his ribs tickled as he couldn’t make it on the pod this week – he’s been transfered to the Forest Green podcast which we have title Vegans Forever.

With the next league game away at Bradford City, Charles speaks to Bantams fan Tim Penfold from The Width of a Post about what we should expect from Gary Bowyer’s under-performing side.

Just a small word of warning – there is a little bit of swearing in this week’s episode.
